Residents complaining …

1

There has been a lot in the press recently about residents complaining about too many driving instructors using their roads to practice manouvres. This is a problem all over the country. Unfortunately learners have to learn manouvres to pass their test, and everyone learn them in a quiet road somewhere, even the people complaining about the learners. It is a problem that won’t really go away, as there are so few roads now in most big towns that are quiet, wide and long. What do you think?

There are a few popular areas which are frequently used for driving lessons in Bournemouth, including Talbot Woods. At Rapid Results we try and use different areas as much as possible to practice manouvres and for first lessons with pupils, but unless we could use some off road facilities somewhere, it is difficult! All driving instructors respect residents’ views at all times.

It is an important issue to raise.
In Aberdeen we have a few wide and quite roads, ideal for instructing.

If you take Driving lessons in Aberdeen there are several streets which used by instructors, thankfully many are in quite areas with few homes.

It’s amazing how people forget they had to learn to drive as well once…it’s the usual story in so many things today.

Residents have no legal grounds for complaints so their arguments can fall on deaf ears.
In the rare occassion we have been challenged,we are polite but if they persist they will get whats coming.
It is a good point to raise however and I am sure many an instructor has had to bite their tongue!!
