New Driving School Car
I have been on the lookout for a new car for my driving school in Ballymena, after reading loads of reviews and reflecting on the downsides of my current car I decided that I needed a car that was safe, comfortable, stylish and easy to drive.
My current car is petrol and it has caused some problems with pupils who have already been learning to drive in diesel cars, they find it difficult to find clutch bite and most have not been taught to set the gas, we have been able to overcome this problem with a little practice and perseverance, some however were not prepared to persevere and decided they only wanted to learn to drive in a diesel.
The other downside to my current car was that it did not have air conditioning, the problem here was that on a cold day during driving lessons the car would steam up and we would have to open the windows to allow them to clear, on warmer days the inside of the car could get very hot and uncomfortable especially during manoeuvres.
With all this taken into consideration it became obvious that my next driving school car would have to be safe, comfortable, easy to drive, diesel, and have air conditioning.
I had heard great reports about the Toyota Yaris from other driving instructors in Ballymena who use these cars for their driving schools.A Driving Instructor friend of mine then asked me if I could do him a favour by taking a pupil for a pre-test lesson and driving test in his car.As his car is a Toyota Yaris this not only gave me the opportunity to test drive the car but also to instruct in it.
I found the Toyota Yaris to be very easy to drive and most forgiving as well as comfortable and very stylish, it really ticked all the boxes and as Ballymena test centre is just opposite the local Toyota dealer I was able to nip in while the pupil was on test and strike a deal!
Delivery times were also very fast, so in a few days time Joe’s Driver Training will be teaching pupils to drive in a brand new Toyota Yaris 14 D4D!!

Understanding the importance of road safety is something we should all strive to achieve as it can directly or indirectly affect ourselves and others on the road. For a learner driver, one of the best ways to gain this understanding is by attending driving school.
So what makes driving school the ideal place to learn such knowledge? First of all, all driving schools go through a rigorous training process which ensures they’re up to speed with all laws that govern driving in their respective state or country. To ensure a solid understanding of the theory behind driving, what better place to start but in a driving school.
Basic road safety begins before we even start our cars. You should check all the tires for pressure and that oil and water levels are sufficient . It’s important to make sure that your lights and signals are operating so that other drivers on the road can be made aware of your intention to turn corners or merge into another lane. For many of us experienced drivers, we can do these things in a few moments while walking to our car but for the novice driver, it’s a process they need to learn.
Secondly, learner drivers should familiarise themselves with the car they intend to drive. The power a car contains varies from each model. If the family car is a powerful vehicle and differs from the one they’ve used at the driving school, spend some time with them before allowing them to take the car out on their own.
Drink driving pedestrians, mobile phones and other drivers on the road. These are all major distractions which can result in you being involved in a car accident. It does not even have to be your fault! It’s often said that it’s not the accident that you see that kills you, but the one you don’t see. In recent years, many driving schools have included a larger syllabus in regards to distractions while driving. Many law enforcement agencies have also taken a hard line against such things by introducing new laws that forbid driving while intoxicated or talking and texting on a mobile phone while driving.
Finally, if your car should break down, you should put on your hazard lights so that other motorists are aware there is a problem. Discuss a plan for your child to follow if any problems should occur such as a break down and what numbers they can call for assistance if you’re registered for road side service.

Learning How To Drive With Crash Course Driving Tutorials
One of the supreme freedom that mankind has is the ability to drive. However, it is becoming gradually more hard on our roads now, as the number of cars increase year on year. It is thought that as many as 25% of every drivers are doing so without a legal authorization. There is no way of justifying this. Being in charge of a car is not just a great liberty, but also an prize and freedom. Because of this, it is only right to be taught how to drive by competent instructors. As our frenzied lifestyles command more of our time, many people are turning to crash course driving coaching over the more customary technique.
As with any way of learning, numerous methods work another way for certain people. Because of this, it is good to understand the advantages of both driving tutorial alternatives.
As intensive driving lessons are, by their very classification, a program of intense teaching, you may uncover the weather and areas in which you drive somewhat limited. With the more prolonged courses, often extending over a period of months, you will have the experience of many varied conditions.
As mentioned above, being a concentrated procedure, learners on crash lessons driving lessons are put under quite severe pressure. This is highlighted even more if attending a residential lessons, where you are surrounded by all things driving throughout the entire week; morning, twelve noon and night! If you can deal with pressure, great! If you blossom under pressure, excellent! If not, it is most likely best not to put yourself through it - learning to drive is a uneasy enough anyway.
Because of the demanding nature of concentrated driving lessons, it is also fundamental that you give them your total attention. Having gone to a great expense to get yourself through the program, it would be galling to fail for whatever reason.
Having a life packed full of responsibilities too, is not suggested on crash program driving lessons. But who doesn’t have responsibilities these days!? Perhaps it could be an idea to take some vacation time to finished the program?
No matter what way you learn to drive, it will be some cost. This is understandable of course, but it is imperative to ensure you can comfortably afford the program.
Having the ability to drive is empowering, and gives you the independence to just get up and go whenever you feel like it. Not only this, it also makes life a whole lot easier, without having to rely on community transport and the favors of acquaintances and relatives every the time. It can also of lessons significantly expand the types of employment you can apply for which, in these uncertain times, could be very useful.
However you come to a decision to learn to drive; whether through the traditional method or via crash course driving lessons, passing your test will be a essential moment in your life.

Website & Server Changes
The driving Schools Directory has undergone a major face-lift which
went live at the weekend and, at the same time, we changed to
different and faster servers. As yet, the domain name has not fully
propagated around the internet which means that currently I am
seeing the old website and others the new. Effectively therefore,
two databases and email systems are active at the moment and I am
trying to hold back on altering anything until the website has
resolved fully. We wouldn’t want to get into a “kerfuffle”!
This should all pan out within the next 24 hours - we did hope that
we would be OK by Monday morning but the internet Gods haven’t been
kind to us. In the meantime, if you are awaiting confirmation of
new listings or a reply on anything from ourselves, please be
patient with us. Nothing will be missed and we will respond as soon
as we are able to - hopefully very shortly.

Pounding The Trucking Industry: Finding A Job
Undoubtedly, it is not easy to find a stable career in todays uncertain economy. Everyone desires a career that is at least somewhat enjoyable and secure. However, you must know where to look in order to accomplish this feat, and for several, the trucking industry is the solution.
One thing is certain in todayas market and that is transporting goods. There will always be a need for transporting goods from one place to another. Big trucks are the most efficient way to transport these goods and every truck needs a driver.
Despite job security being relatively high in the trucking industry, there are still threats. Todayas uncontrollable spikes in oil prices impair privately owned truck companies. On the other hand, larger transportation companies have only had to make slight adjustments to survive the given current conditions.
There is a barrier to entry in finding a career in the trucking industry, though. You must endure training and have job-specific certifications such as a commercial driving license or (CDL). Both of which you can attain by enrolling in a truck driving school.
Typically these driving schools can be completed in a short amount of time. This is very attractive to those that need to start a job sooner rather than later. Often times, large trucking companies will pay for truck driving school and some even pay a small salary while attending.
Be advised that there are some companies that will only agree to pay for schooling if the aspirant signs a contract mandating a certain time span of service to the company. Most contracts are likely to require at least six months of service, if not a year or two.
Some drivers usually decide to complete a truck driving school and independently apply for local opportunities in their region. This grants them the opportunity to work for various companies rather than to be confined to job opportunities at one company.
If you think truck driving is a real option for you, finding information can be as simple as going online. You can do a search for jobs in your area. For example if you are looking for local sacramento truck driving jobs, you can do a simple search to find what is available.

Driving Instructors: Better Than An Empty Parking Lot
On any given Sunday morning, in the empty parking lot of a department store, you are sure to find an uncertain car with a teenager at the wheel and a very nervous parent as passenger. Learning to drive is a time-honoured tradition and represents a transition from child to young adult. Though many parents may dread the day that their child comes up to them dangling the keys and begging for lessons, they eventually give in and teach their child how to drive. However, this act may not be the smartest or even the safest.
Using a driving instructor is a helpful way to teach teenagers to drive in a structured and safe environment. And while parents mean well and truly want their children to learn properly, driving instructors will not pass on bad habits to the teenager that parents may do absent-mindedly. Driving instructors are highly trained and understand how to teach the skills needed to ensure that the teenager or any new driver can pass the driving test and maintain safe habits throughout their driving careers.
Driving schools and instructors often have their own cars that will be used to teach the student. At the end of the course, the student will use this car on the driving test. The instructorÕs car will be very well maintained and will pass the stringent requirements for the car in order to be used in the actual test. This will benefit the student since being at ease and comfortable with the vehicle will make it far easier to pass the test.
The instructors begin at the basics when teaching a new student. They start with the car, making sure the student is familiarized with basic driving features and engine components. Once this is done, such skills as braking smoothly, turning, parking and reversing are explored. The instructor will determine when the student is ready for more advanced skills and will work with the student at their own pace until all the skills are honed. Driving instructors understand all the nuances and laws of the road and can easily communicate them to the student in such a manner as to be easily understood.
Unlike parents or other would-be instructors, a trained and professional driving instructor has the ability to teach the skills that students will need not only to simply pass the test, but to maintain safe driving behaviour and habits once out on the road alone.
Learn how to drive step by step with Driving Plus Driving School. For more information on Driving Plus and their instructors visit Driving School Sydney
